4 Años, 2 meses y 1 día 4 Años, 2 meses y 1 día was the first album (the second in the band's discography) released after singer Natxo Etxebarrieta's motorcycle accident. It was recorded in London at Von's Recording Studios, with Natxo's compensation.
This album was also the first recorded by guitarist Goar Iñurrieta (also in bands like Bizkar Hezurra and Korroskada), introducing a heavier, hard rock edge to the guitars.
This album was Natxo's effort to record the old Cicatriz songs they had recorded before the accident, including the song "Lola."
The album is dedicated to the memory of the band's first guitarist, Pepin, who had recently passed away from a heroin overdose.
